For the owners of Cut Snake distillery, it made sense to use the local commodity, cane, that has become an intrinsic part of their area. Burning cane is a method still practiced in the Northern NSW, the illustration on the label design depicts a man touching a flame to the cane plants. It’s an image unique to the area and shows a part of the rum making process.
